Our Aussie gnat hat is made of the durable synthetic polyester fabric that insures it will last a lifetime. It has multiple dangling corks (about a dozen), attached to the brim of the hat. The corks are extremely light and hang roughly four and half to five inches below the hat. Each gentle movement of your head causes the corks to swing from side to side, thus creating a natural "swatting" motion... leaving your hands free to fish, work in the garden, cut the lawn, or any other outdoor activity that could be plagued by the presence of flying pests!
